What's the next Sims 3 stuff pack?

So, we must now be nearing the announcement of the next Sims 3 stuff pack. There were recently rumors about a new stuff pack featuring Katy Perry sweet treats, but this isn't confirmed and to be honest I think is fabricated. The reason why I think it's fabricated is because today, thesims3.com put up a selection of stuff packs for us fans to vote on including:

• Storytelling Stuff
• Sports Stuff
• Party Stuff
• Teen Stuff
• Decades Stuff

These are in more detail here, and you can vote on which one you like on that same page at this link. There's no sign of Katy Perry at all anywhere, which is good or bad news depending on which way you look at it.
The post was by Jennifer Lane who is well known on Sims 3 forums so this isn't fake. So, personally I would go for Storytelling Stuff, but what would you pick?

New SimCity to be released next year!

The famous Simcity series is returning sometime next year with tons of new features and a whole new graphics engine. The cities will be more diverse, look more realistic and have a more realistic feel to gameplay. Some of you may have already heard of Cities XL which sort of died of death when Monte Cristo got taken over by Focus Home Interactive and the game sightly improved, however simcity looks to rock their boats when this is released next year. The new multiplayer feature will bring a whole new element to the game. Maxis and EA hope to entice new players to the city builder genre of games with this game, so it definitely will be user friendly for the newbies to the game, and of course existing fans will have all the fun of the past games in the series.

Need to redeem your Showtime limited edition venue?

Have you got the limited edition of Showtime or the Katy Perry version?
You'll want to download your bonus venue, and to do that you need to visit this page to redeem your venue for download. Follow these simple instructions:

1. 1. Install your The Sims 3 game first!
2. 2. Register with The Sims 3 Community if you haven't already- go to the webpage here to register
3. 3. Enter the unique code you received from the retailer* in the field on the right on this page
4. 4. Once your code is entered, you'll see a link to install the item from your Purchase History page. Locate the item on your Purchase History page and click install**. This will launch the game and install your item. **It may take up to 5 minutes for the item to appear on your Purchase History page.

Sims 3 Showtime Katy Perry collectors edition

The countdown is nearing it's end now with the Sims 3 Showtime! 
With EA releasing the new game update which allows all users to integrate social features of the Sims 3 community directly from within the game making it easier to share your gameplay experiences to your wall so your friends can see what your up to. Also the new update allows you to upload and share content much more easily.

Showtime is releasing in North America on Tuesday 6th March and the rest of the world will be getting it's hands on it on Friday 9th March!
