University Life - the next expansion to hit Sims 3!

The Sims 3 university Life will be coming as the next expansion pack for Sims 3 at the first half of 2013! There isn't much detail about release or anything yet but we had many hints as to it coming if you remember back to the Seasons livestream back in October this year when they hinted with a university cloak and hat on the stage that it could be coming.

Sims 3 Monte Vista releasing 6th December!

Monte Vista, the brand new world coming to your Sims game soon is releasing on 6th December at the sims 3 store! It will probably be the price of around 2,500 simpoints which is standard for a world, however there are rumors that previously released worlds will go on sale when this is released, but this is not confirmed. Monte Vista looks to bring a 'never seen before' layout to your Sims game and will give us something to enjoy for christmas!

November EA Livestream coming on the 8th!

EA recently announced another livestream for Seasons and the new stuff pack that was announced in the previous livestream nearly a month ago, 70's, 80's and 90's stuff! The livestream will be happening at the usual time of 10AM PST or 5PM GMT.

70's 80's 90's Coming to your Sims game soon!

The Maxis livestream at the start of October briefly revealed the next expansion pack after Seasons will be the 70's, 80's and 90's stuff! No further information is  available yet but keep tuned here for more.

Sims 3 Game Update 1.39 Just Released

So a new patch which fixes a couple of things in Supernatural has been released since the release of the pack itself!

Details:

• Zombies will no longer continue to spawn after a Full Moon ends when the game has been saved during a Full Moon. Note that a new save must be created for the fix to come into effect.

Finally, the long awaited expansion pack Seasons has been confirmed late on Thursday 2nd August, which coincided with the information release and community days for the forthcoming Supernatural expansion releasing September 7th. What's more interesting is that there is no stuff pack scheduled to release before seasons, but I expect that's because of the diesel stuff and Katy Perry packs released recently.

There were some screens also released for both Supernatural and Seasons, my analysis of looking at the Seasons screens is that there looks to be a definite new town with the expansion, the weather looks great and there also looks to be tons of new venues and things to do at them venues throughout each season, and if you thought seasons ended there, it looks as if they have also incorporated holiday seasons as well as the classic weather side of the gameplay which makes this game look to be one of the best or the best expansion released so far, which begs the questions, how many more packs will be released for Sims 3 and will Sims 4 be announced soon? Is Sims 3 Supernatural the next EP?

There was a leak on amazon Italy about a new expansion pack for the Sims 3 called Supernatural. Could this be true? One things for certain and that's its not confirmed yet, but it seems legit as I show in my video below that there is a Russian trailer leaked which seems pretty legit. Take a look, make a verdict and make your decisions!
The aims of this pack are to bring the fantasy side of Sims alive with gameplay modes for your Sims such as werewolf, fairies and zombies which are unique and seem interesting. It all seems a little bit out of the blue after all this Katy Perry stuff!

New stuff pack announced - Diesel Stuff

Sims 3 Diesel Stuff Releasing July 2012

The next stuff pack after the Katy Perry Sweet Treats is released next month will be the Diesel Stuff pack which will bring an array of diesel designer wear fresh from their summer 2012 collection. It's similar to the pack released for Sims 2 called H&M stuff but EA have gone for a different brand and this one sets to give your Sims a great wardrobe.
Who knows how you'll be bale to get the clothes? Perhaps you can just put them on your Sims in CAH or you might need to go and buy them at a diesel community lot store? Whatever way of getting your hands on them will be great and will work with many expansion packs that have been previously released!


This will be released on 13th July 2012, but there are no altering dates yet for North America and UK.

So the next stuff pack is confirmed and it is the Katy Perry Sweet Treats stuff. So speculation and rumors were correct all along. I cant find a release date but you can pre-order it.
This stuff pack will bring a raft of new Katy Perry themed stuff, furnishings, decor and pre-built venues.

What's the next Sims 3 stuff pack?

So, we must now be nearing the announcement of the next Sims 3 stuff pack. There were recently rumors about a new stuff pack featuring Katy Perry sweet treats, but this isn't confirmed and to be honest I think is fabricated. The reason why I think it's fabricated is because today, thesims3.com put up a selection of stuff packs for us fans to vote on including:

• Storytelling Stuff
• Sports Stuff
• Party Stuff
• Teen Stuff
• Decades Stuff

These are in more detail here, and you can vote on which one you like on that same page at this link. There's no sign of Katy Perry at all anywhere, which is good or bad news depending on which way you look at it.
The post was by Jennifer Lane who is well known on Sims 3 forums so this isn't fake. So, personally I would go for Storytelling Stuff, but what would you pick?

New SimCity to be released next year!

The famous Simcity series is returning sometime next year with tons of new features and a whole new graphics engine. The cities will be more diverse, look more realistic and have a more realistic feel to gameplay. Some of you may have already heard of Cities XL which sort of died of death when Monte Cristo got taken over by Focus Home Interactive and the game sightly improved, however simcity looks to rock their boats when this is released next year. The new multiplayer feature will bring a whole new element to the game. Maxis and EA hope to entice new players to the city builder genre of games with this game, so it definitely will be user friendly for the newbies to the game, and of course existing fans will have all the fun of the past games in the series.

Sims 3 Showtime Katy Perry collectors edition

The countdown is nearing it's end now with the Sims 3 Showtime! 
With EA releasing the new game update which allows all users to integrate social features of the Sims 3 community directly from within the game making it easier to share your gameplay experiences to your wall so your friends can see what your up to. Also the new update allows you to upload and share content much more easily.

Showtime is releasing in North America on Tuesday 6th March and the rest of the world will be getting it's hands on it on Friday 9th March!

Sims 3 Showtime Katy Perry collectors edition

EA have released more about Showtime, a Katy Perry collectors edition will be available to buy at release. It will include Katy Perry themed hairstyles, fashions, guitar, fruit-themed stage props and an exclusive poster. Also the downloadable venue will still be included as it is in the limited edition game.

This game will also have all the features the basic edition game will have and the social features will be optional.

Community lot build videos coming to the channel!

Starting next month will be another series running alongside the house builds where I build your Sims unique community lots. Dates are yet to be confirmed, but it will be close to the house release dates and it will start next month in February.

So keep tuned to the channel for more information.

Will you boycott The Sims 3?

A new Facebook event page called 'Boycott The Sims 3' had been created by a user and aims to protest against EA's way of trying to force us to buy things through the store and in the game with expensive simpoints and just not giving us great expansion packs like they used to. This event has also been made up because of gameplay being turned more into goal related gameplay and actually getting away from the Sims game altogether changing gameplay.

Some people are obviously not that hot on the new Showtime expansion as most people say it's like Late Night number 2. Personally, I think everyone will be proven wrong and it will be great.

I won't be joining this even that happens on 18th February, but if you feel strongly with this group then feel free to join and help make your voice heard.
